Our new Star Writer is Liam.
He wrote about his morning and these are the things we liked about his story:
1. The choice of words, they helped us visualise the things Liam can see from his bedroom.
2. The variety of sentence structures including a list sentence.
3. There is some direct speech.
4. We can infer that when Liam whines he gets his own way, is that correct Liam?
Wednesday Morning
On Wednesday morning the light shone through the cracks of my door so I knew it was morning. I peeked out my window and I saw birds, trees, houses and the road. I whine to watch TV (I usually get to), I watch TV. Mum yells, ‘Breakfast is ready!!’ We eat weetbix everyday. We pack our bags and race to the car. We smell chocolate because we live next to a chocolate factory. Steam comes out of the exhaust pipe. We’re ready to go to the boring school.
